The European Artificial Intelligence Office is organizing a webinar to discuss the fundamental principles of a risk management approach under the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act. The webinar will take place on May 30, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM CEST, and will be conducted entirely online.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

The logic behind the AI Act regulation, including insights into risk and quality management system requirements for high-risk AI systems;

Essential elements for developing risk assessments in general-purpose AI models with systemic risks;

Preparing your organization to comply with the AI Act;

Evaluating whether available international standards, such as the recent ISO 42001, are sufficient for regulatory compliance under the AI Act.

The event is targeted at organizations developing AI systems or general-purpose AI models, civil society organizations, R&D agents, and other stakeholders.

The European AI Act is expected to come into effect between June and July 2024. The European AI Office is organizing a series of webinars to help organizations prepare adequately and in a timely manner for the implementation of this law.
