The 2024 EIC Transition call is now open and will run until September 18. This funding instrument aims to foster the transition from research and development to innovation (TRL 4 to TRL 5/6).
In addition to the eligibility conditions previously established in earlier calls (EIC Pathfinder and FET Open/Proactive; ERC Proof of Concept; EDF), this year the possibility of participation has been extended to projects (RIAs) from any scientific and technological field that have been funded under societal challenges and/or leading industrial technologies within H2020 or any cluster of Pillar II within Horizon Europe.
Individual or collaborative participation is allowed, with up to 5 entities (SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs, RTOs, universities, etc.). Participation can be extended to entities that did not participate in the eligible projects, provided that the respective agreements for scale-up and commercial exploitation of the results are safeguarded with the initial consortium.
Only projects that have been active for more than 12 months or completed within 30 months will be considered eligible.
