Document analyses results of Horizon Europe and the EU’s strategic priorities in R&D

The ‘Annual Report on the European Union’s Research and Technological Development Activities and Monitoring of Horizon Europe in 2024’, released by the European Commission, is now available. The document, accessible in all official EU languages, presents a comprehensive analysis of policy initiatives and progress in R&DT over the past year.

The report pays special attention to the twin digital and green transitions, international cooperation and, in this edition, also emphasises the importance of sustainable prosperity, European competitiveness, strategic autonomy and economic security. The monitoring component offers an in-depth analysis of the results achieved under Horizon Europe and the Euratom programme during 2024.
