On 24 April, the European Innovation Council (EIC) is organising a webinar dedicated to the 11th edition of the European Capital of Innovation Awards (iCapital).
The session aims to present the main novelties of the 2026 edition, with emphasis on the eligibility and evaluation criteria. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the experiences of previous winners in the two categories of the competition:
– European Rising Innovative City – for cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants;
– European Capital of Innovation – for cities with more than 250,000 inhabitants.
Applications are now open and run until 18 June.
