European Commission opens applications for new EIC Board members

The European Commission has opened a call for new members of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Board, the high-level body that helps define the strategy of Europe’s largest fund for investing in deep tech companies.

The EIC Board is made up of 15 to 20 high-profile independent members, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors and researchers. This group plays a key role in giving strategic direction to the EIC, overseeing the implementation of its funding programmes and making recommendations for strengthening the European innovation ecosystem.

The call is open to candidates with international recognition in their fields and in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by deep tech companies in Europe, from start-up to global scalability.
