European Commission Launches Call for Coordination of the “Better Internet for Kids” Platform

€4 Million Contract to Enhance Online Safety Services for Children in Europe

The European Commission, through the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT), has launched a public call for proposals worth €4 million to select a coordinator for the “Better Internet for Kids” (BIK) portal. The contract will last for 24 months and aims to strengthen the implementation of the European strategy for a safer internet for children.

The BIK portal is a vital tool supporting communities focused on online safety. It provides resources and services designed to protect children in the digital environment. This initiative is part of the BIK+ strategy, which seeks to: Ensure safe digital experiences for children. Empower young people. Promote active youth participation in the online world.

Companies and organizations interested in participating in this call can access detailed information and application guidelines via the EU Funding and Tenders Portal.
