The ITEA Cluster of the Eureka Network is organising a webinar on 18 July on the emerging concept of the Cyber-Physical-Metaverse, a technological evolution that is expected to be as disruptive for the industry as the cloud was for the IT sector.
The event aims to deepen the role of communication, computing and operation technologies in the growing integration between the real and virtual worlds, through distributed, reliable and real-time systems. The aim is to understand how these technologies can facilitate predictable and secure interactions between humans, machines, infrastructures and services, as well as their digital equivalents, such as digital twins or the metaverse itself.
The webinar will feature interventions by experts from Bosch, Siemens and ITEA, who will address topics such as the importance of reliable distributed systems and the role of web technologies in linking the physical and digital worlds. The session will also include a moment of debate and questions open to the public.
