A rede Eureka e a HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) are organising an online session dedicated to exploring opportunities for collaboration in the shipbuilding sector. The event will feature Dongkyu Shin, senior researcher at the HD Hyundai Europe R&D Centre, who will present a technological challenge focused on the development of high-efficiency insulation panels for LNG membrane carriers.
HD KSOE, formerly Hyundai Heavy Industries, is one of the world’s largest shipbuilding and marine engine companies, and has focused on innovation as a driver of development. Its R&D Centre in Germany is tasked with identifying and integrating advanced technologies into new products, strengthening the company’s competitiveness at a global level.
During the session, possible forms of collaboration will be discussed and there will be a time for questions and answers. After the event, interested companies will be able to register for the challenge launched by HD KSOE to explore partnership opportunities in the development of innovative thermal insulation solutions for LNG carriers.
