Applications open until December 9
The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, as part of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), has launched a call for its next training program in World Class Manufacturing (WCM), to be held in Nagoya, Japan.
This five-day training program offers an in-depth analysis of Japanese manufacturing methodology and is exclusively aimed at EU managers with WCM knowledge and engineering training who hold decision-making roles capable of influencing their companies’ strategic production.
The mission will take place from March 13 to 17, 2023, and applications are open until December 9.
The program includes various lectures and seminars delivered by Japanese industry experts, workshops, and visits to some of Japan’s most advanced factories across sectors such as chemicals and plastics, automotive, and steel products. Participants will have the opportunity to directly engage with production managers, experience the true “Gemba” (shop floor), and observe the effective implementation of manufacturing methods such as LEAN, KAIZEN, and WCW.
Since its first edition in 1992, more than 900 participants from all EU Member States have attended these hands-on training courses.
