Applications until 10th September
EIT Urban Mobility has opened the RIS Education Open Call 2026, a new funding opportunity aimed at capacity building and training projects that promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the urban mobility sector in the countries covered by the Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS).
With an indicative budget of up to 1.25 million euros, this call aims to support educational initiatives that develop transferable skills and have a lasting impact on diverse audiences and relevant markets. Universities, research centres, startups, SMEs and other legal entities established in the European Union or in countries associated with Horizon Europe – regardless of their previous connection to the EIT Urban Mobility network – can apply.
Proposals can be submitted by a single beneficiary or by consortia, as long as they demonstrate the pan-European dimension and the integration of the knowledge triangle (education, innovation and business). Applications will be assessed in two stages: analysis by external experts and final selection by an evaluation committee.
The selected projects will start on 1 January 2026, with the results to be announced in December of this year.
