EIT Urban Mobility launches €60M call for innovative urban mobility solutions

Applications for the first cut-off until 23 September

EIT Urban Mobility has launched the Strategic Innovation Open Call, a funding opportunity aimed at supporting innovative solutions that respond to the main urban mobility challenges faced by cities, public authorities and operators in the sector.

With total funding totalling 60 million euros for the period 2026 to 2028, the call aims to support ambitious projects with market potential and the ability to be replicated in different European countries. The first phase has an indicative allocation of 9 million euros.

Consortia made up of at least two independent legal entities established in two different European Union countries or associated with Horizon Europe can apply.

The priority areas covered by this call include urban logistics, public transport, mobility data management, electrification and alternative fuels, and the relationship between health and mobility.

The deadline for submitting proposals in the first phase is 23 September 2025 at 17:00 CET.
