Deadline: January 17
The EIT RawMaterials has launched a new call to support RIS projects focused on innovation and capacity building, aligning with the European Union’s initiative to ensure the sustainable supply of critical raw materials. This call, with its first cut-off on January 17, aims to strengthen sustainable development within the raw materials value chain, a critical step in achieving the goals of the Critical Raw Materials Act and ensuring Europe’s green and digital transition.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy to bolster the production, processing, and recycling of raw materials within the European Union by 2030, reducing dependency on external suppliers. Through funding support for companies, research centers, and start-ups, the program seeks to drive innovation, job creation, and the promotion of a more circular and resilient economy.
Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply for funding at various stages throughout 2025. The EIT RawMaterials welcomes proposals from entities aligned with the objectives of the Horizon Europe program, particularly in areas fostering innovative and sustainable solutions
