EIT Raw Materials has announced the opening of a call for proposals for the development of the Social License to Operate (SLO) Hub, a platform dedicated to promoting community acceptance and sustainability in the raw materials sector. The SLO Hub will be an educational and consultancy tool, offering training and support to mining companies, local authorities, entrepreneurs, researchers and NGOs.

With the aim of helping to overcome environmental, social and regulatory challenges, the project aims to align the sector’s operations with the European Union’s goals, promoting greater community acceptance and more sustainable practices.
