Applications are now open for the ‘Open Innovation: Screening and care of pre-symptomatic autoimmune Type 1 diabetes’ challenge, promoted by Sanofi, Université Paris Cité and EIT Health. The initiative aims to find digital solutions capable of improving early detection and coordination of care in Type 1 Diabetes, before clinical symptoms appear.

Startups, SMEs and consortia can apply and propose approaches that can be integrated into national healthcare systems. The selected teams will have access to a personalised acceleration programme, expert mentoring, testing and integration of the solutions on a national digital platform, as well as opportunities to connect with strategic partners across Europe.
