5.Jul.2024

EIT Food, in partnership with the AMPLE program, has announced the distribution of 30 Boost Vouchers, each worth €2,300, aimed at supporting SMEs and startups in the agrifood sector. This initiative seeks to help companies improve their businesses while promoting a healthier, fairer, and more sustainable food industry.

Recipients must use the funds to address food insecurity, either by enhancing production processes or innovating the properties of food products. The grant can be applied in the following areas:

  • Access to sustainable suppliers;
  • Consultancy;
  • Specific training;
  • Design and marketing services.

However, the funds cannot be used for purchasing real estate, capital goods with a lifespan exceeding one year, or perishable items.

Interested companies are required to develop an action plan to improve their business and address food security. Additionally, they must announce the grant allocation on their social media channels and websites, referencing the AMPLE program, EIT Food, and Citi Foundation. After implementing the improvements, a detailed final report must be submitted, including bank certificates and other success indicators.
