EIT Culture & Creativity launches call for Strategic Topic Groups

25.Sep.2025

Until October 13

EIT Culture & Creativity has launched a call for the creation of eight Strategic Topic Groups (STGs), which will act as spaces for reflection and experimentation (think-do tanks and innovation sandboxes).

The aim is to bring together expertise from different sectors to address pressing societal challenges and produce strategic inputs for the Partnership’s next Strategic Agenda and the future Horizon Europe 10 Framework Program (FP10).

This contest is only open to entities with Core Partner or Cooperation Partner status in 2025 that are already part of the ecosystem.

Proposals must focus on one of eight strategic areas: Architecture, Audiovisual, Cultural Heritage, Digital Futures, Fashion, Gaming, New European Bauhaus & Design, or New European Bauhaus & Resilience.

In total, up to eight proposals will be supported, with a maximum funding of €60,000 per project, for a total amount of €480,000. Financial support will be paid in two phases: pre-financing of up to 30% after signing the agreement and the remaining amount after validation of results and costs.

To be eligible, consortia must include at least two valid partners and ensure the participation of different dimensions of the Extended Knowledge Triangle (education, research, business, cultural institutions, and civil society).

Applications, which must be submitted in English, must include the application form, CVs of the experts involved, a budget plan in Excel, and a valid Participant Identification Code (PIC).

The deadline for submissions is October 13, 2025, and the results will be announced on October 31, 2025.

The projects will start on November 1, 2025, and will last for nine months.
