EIT Climate-KIC has launched the Sustainable Cities Mobility Challenge, an initiative aimed at cities in the European Union and countries associated with Horizon Europe with at least 25,000 inhabitants. The program aims to support projects that decarbonize transport, promote active and shared mobility and improve air quality.
Each city can receive up to 90,000 euros in funding, with a maximum of four projects being supported. This year’s challenge focuses on initiatives that promote greener and more accessible urban spaces.
Proposals must be submitted by municipalities and the funded projects must be completed by December 31, 2026.
