EIC PATHFINDER CHALLENGES: HOW TO PREPARE A SUCCESSFUL PROPOSAL

31.Jul.2024

ANI, in partnership with IPN, is organizing a capacity-building workshop dedicated to the EIC Pathfinder Challenges 2024 call. The event will take place on September 25 at the IPN – Instituto Pedro Nunes premises in Coimbra.

The event is divided into two sessions with limited participation:

(10:30 AM – 12:30 PM) Part I – 50 participants

(2:00 PM – 4:00 PM) Part II – 30 participants

The morning session (Part I) will feature a Project Officer from EISMEA who will cover topics such as the application process, eligibility criteria, and the evaluation process of the program. Additionally, there will be a presentation of experiences by a national coordinator for an EIC Pathfinder Challenges project.

The afternoon session (Part II) will focus on a hands-on rehearsal for preparing a successful proposal. This session will include practical and interactive exercises aimed at correctly interpreting a technical annex. It will be moderated by evaluator Ana Leite Oliveira (UCP).

This initiative aims to inform and empower the scientific, technological, and entrepreneurial communities regarding funding opportunities (with projects up to €4M) for disruptive ideas and low technological maturity developments (up to TRL 4). The EIC Pathfinder is primarily targeted at consortium projects, with a minimum of three entities, including SMEs, start-ups, higher education institutions, and technology centers.
