EEN: OPEN CALL FOR EENERGY ENERGY EFFICIENCY SCHOLARSHIPS UP TO 10,000 EUROS

10.Apr.2024

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking support for the design and implementation of actions aimed at improving their energy efficiency can apply for the EENergy public tender and potentially benefit from an EENergy grant of 10,000 euros, in addition to sustainability consulting services provided by the Enterprise Europe Network.

The program will support over 1,800 SMEs in developing action plans aimed at improving their energy efficiency, potentially including EENergy grants up to 10,000 euros for around 900 SMEs.

The EENergy grant is a unique support mechanism that will be awarded to individual SMEs after the preparation and implementation of a specific action plan aimed at achieving a minimum 5% improvement in the energy efficiency of each company involved in the project.

To participate in this competition and apply for a grant, SMEs must work with specialized sustainability consultants from the Enterprise Europe Network. These consultants will support SMEs interested in designing a personalized energy efficiency action plan and in submitting their application for the EENergy public tender. The application form and documentation for the competition are available on the project’s website.

The application should provide accurate information about the company, the energy efficiency improvements to be implemented, as well as the funding anticipated in its action plan. From all eligible applications, SMEs will be randomly selected to receive a grant of up to 10,000 euros. All eligible applicants participating in the public tender, whether they receive the grant or not, will continue to benefit from advisory and support services provided by the sustainability consultants of the Enterprise Europe Network during the implementation of their action plan. They will also receive anonymized reports containing benchmarking assessments of their energy efficiency performance compared to all other participants, taking into account company size, sector, and location.
