On November 12 and 13, 2024, Warsaw will host the Deep Tech Skills Days 2024, an event organized as part of the Deep Tech Talent Initiative – an initiative led by the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT) that will train one million people in deep tech fields by 2025.
Europe faces a shortage of skilled talent and workforce necessary to leverage emerging technologies for the green and digital transitions. As part of the European Commission’s New European Innovation Agenda, the EIT is tackling this challenge by developing a talent pool in deep tech across the continent.
In line with this objective, the event invites companies, researchers, universities and other entities to explore the development of skills in the field of deep tech.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to share best practices and listen to experts from renowned organizations and institutions in sessions dedicated to cybersecurity and quantum computing, as well as in panels on the development of talent in deep tech, entrepreneurship and the impact of Artificial Intelligence. The importance of female talent in the deep tech sector and innovative strategies for attracting and retaining resources are also topics of focus.
