ProChild aims to develop a strategy against child poverty and social exclusion, framed in a transdisciplinary scientific approach, linking the public and private sectors, promoting children’s well-being at the economic and social levels and contributing to public policies to stand upon their rights.
Our vision is to become the national reference institution for the development of integrated solutions to break the cycle of poverty and promote children’s rights and well-being.
ProChild seeks to promote an effective social change by linking researchers and on-the-ground stakeholders around a common scientific-based innovative agenda, allying social intervention & digital technologies. This alliance will allow more efficient data collection and analysis, with a major impact on scaling-up programs, services and products fittings children, families, professionals and stakeholders’ needs, and on knowledge transfer to ultimately contribute to public policies and advocacy actions.
