Applications until September 9
Climate KIC has opened applications for ambassadors for the Green Horizons Farmers’ Network, a pan-European initiative that aims to accelerate the transition of the agricultural sector to more sustainable, resilient, and climate-smart practices.
The network operates on three levels of involvement—Plant, Grow, and Harvest—which ensure a progressive and interconnected approach. The Plant level provides training and access to digital tools, webinars, and a knowledge hub open to farmers, students, and the agricultural community. The Grow level, aimed at local ambassadors, includes Portugal among the eligible countries, providing methodologies, training, and direct support from Climate KIC to boost projects in the field. The Harvest level focuses on practical monitoring through face-to-face workshops, reports, and policy briefs.
The requirements and benefits for ambassadors can be found here.
The initiative will kick off in October 2025 with two online training sessions dedicated to Systems Thinking and Climate Leadership, followed by in-person workshops starting at the end of the year.
