Applications until February 28
Climate KIC, an initiative supported by the EIT, has launched the Open Call for ClimAccelerator 2026, focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep-Tech for climate innovation, aimed at Entrepreneurship Support Organisations (ESOs) interested in boosting start-ups that develop innovative technologies for a carbon-neutral and climate-resilient future.
The programme, with an application deadline of 28 February (11:00 UTC), is seeking global partners to manage accelerators that promote disruptive solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep-Tech with significant climate impact.
Among the benefits for selected organisations are:
- Integration into a global network of over 400 organisations dedicated to climate innovation.
- Tools and content for programme management, including mentoring networks.
- Climate KIC Impact Assessment Service to measure and communicate climate and social outcomes.
- Gender Integration Manual (WeClim Equally) to promote diversity and inclusion.
- Support for fundraising, including access to investors, exclusive sessions with the investment team, and letters of recommendation for funding proposals.
Although Climate KIC does not directly fund programme implementation, the partnership offers opportunities to strengthen positioning and attract sponsors.
Interested organisations should complete the form available on the Climate KIC website.
Climate KIC will promote two info sessions about this initiative, the first of which will take place this month:
