The European Innovation Council (EIC) and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) have launched a new call for proposals (Coordination and Support Action Call) to manage financial support for access to the services of EIC Ecosystem Partners. Applications for this measure can be submitted until November 14.
This coordination and support initiative aims to provide JIT beneficiaries with financial support to access the services of European ecosystem partners, taking into account the specific needs in terms of sector knowledge, networks, Research & Innovation infrastructures, market access or business development.
The objective of the project is “Financial Support to Third Parties” and the winner, who may be a single entity or a consortium of legal entities, will receive funding to allocate lump sum grants to EIC beneficiaries through constantly open calls managed by the project beneficiary to co-finance 50% of the costs of services provided by EIC Ecosystem Partners.
This action will:
- Increase the access of JIT beneficiaries to new partners and services with sector-specific knowledge, RDI equipment/infrastructure, networks or markets;
- Enable a quick transition from laboratory to market innovations and the expansion of JIT companies, increasing the chances of return on investment;
- Create synergies and disseminate excellence within the European Innovation Ecosystem;
- Enable EIC ecosystem partners to have fluid access to high-level European innovators (including EIC winners).
