ANI is promoting the 8th edition of the BfK Ideas competition, an annual initiative that aims to distinguish the best business ideas “born of knowledge” scientific and/or technological and equip research teams with business tools and methodologies to put these ideas into practice. Applications for the 2023 edition run until September 22. The winners will be announced at the final event scheduled for November 16.

The main objective of this competition is to disseminate and distinguish business ideas from Portuguese Higher Education Institutions, encouraging and supporting the work developed by these institutions and their Technology Transfer offices.

To participate in BfK Ideas 2023, national Higher Education Institutions must identify the science-based business idea, that is, sustained in the scientific knowledge of the promoters.

During the program the promoters with the selected business ideas will experience a 2-day immersion program where training and mentoring will be given to two elements of each team.
