The annual call for the Coal and Steel Research Fund (RFCS) for 2024 has a budget allocation of €40 million to fund the digital, green, and circular transition of the coal and steel sectors. Approximately 70% of the funding will be allocated to steel-related projects, while the remaining 30% will support coal-related projects.
