The President of ANI, António Grilo, will participate in the Roundtable of the Falling Walls Science Summit 2024, organized by the German Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRING). The event will take place from November 7 to 9 in Berlin.
The Roundtable, “Laying the Foundation for Europe’s Deep Tech Future,” will focus on the window of opportunities opened by the 2024 European Union elections regarding the structure and strategies of European innovation policies. The discussion will address technologies that can lay the groundwork for Europe’s future and the role of companies and innovation agencies in leading the deep tech century.
The panel will include approximately 15 decision-makers from European governments, National Innovation Agencies, major European companies, and venture capital funds.
In recent years, several European countries have implemented agencies and new policies to promote innovation and transfer knowledge from academia to the market. The Falling Walls Science Summit has fostered this innovative reflection, bringing together policymakers, business executives, startup ecosystem builders, and brilliant scientists.
