ANI is organising an information session on the objectives and opportunities offered by the New European Bauhaus (NEB) in the next biennium (2023-24). The event will take place on 13 December at 10am, in digital format.
This session aims to explain what the New European Bauhaus is, what its objectives and main initiatives are, and also to showcase the various Portuguese projects or projects with Portuguese participation that have been selected by the NEB so far. The session will be attended by a representative of the European Commission and those responsible for some NEB projects and initiatives in Portugal.
This initiative is aimed at all kinds of people and organisations, including universities, research centres, non-governmental associations, companies, municipalities and regional and government authorities.
The New European Bauhaus was launched in September 2020 by the President of the European Commission, with the aim of bringing the values of sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion to the European Green Deal and thus bringing it closer to citizens and making it a tangible and positive experience for everyone, through connections between the world of art and culture and the realm of science and technology.
