The National Innovation Agency (ANI) joined the companies NOS, Critical Software, Geosat and Galp to launch six challenges to higher education institutions for the development of innovative solutions, identifying disruptive projects in areas such as energy, space, information systems and 5G. Applications are open until March 19. The winning teams will receive five thousand euros each.
“Our goal is to promote collaborative innovation and the transfer of knowledge to the economy, enhancing the commercial results of research, and create channels of access to knowledge for companies,” explains and statement Joana Mendonça, president of ANI.
This initiative aims to be a platform for researchers, teachers and students of national higher education institutions to develop new ideas, perspectives and skills for companies providing access to research and innovation. In addition to the monetary awards, the winning teams will have the opportunity to collaborate with the initiative’s partner companies, collaboration, which can be deepened in the future.
