AI Challenge 2025 opens registration to connect startups and organizations seeking cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence

12.Sep.2025

Until October 29

The AI Challenge 2025, a pan-European initiative promoted by the EIT AI Community, has just opened registration to accelerate the implementation of innovative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions in various sectors of the economy and public administration.

This initiative aims to bring together cities, companies, public institutions, and other organizations facing concrete challenges related to data and AI, and connect them with startups and scaleups capable of developing applicable and scalable solutions. A unique matchmaking mechanism will put the right challenges in the hands of Europe’s best AI talent.

Those interested in participating who have challenges to solve can gain direct access to Europe’s most promising startups, find tailor-made solutions to real needs, and contribute to the consolidation of a strong and collaborative European AI ecosystem.

Startups and solution providers wishing to apply will have the opportunity to learn about specific challenges faced by SMEs, corporations, and cities; access to structured matchmaking and support throughout the collaboration; a €10,000 prize to support the development of the solution or the execution of a PoC (proof-of-concept), and access to the exclusive AI Founders Club, with a network of services and support offered by the EIT AI community.

The areas highlighted for the 2025 edition cover some of the most strategic topics for the future of technology in Europe: creating data spaces for cities, healthcare, and manufacturing; developing solutions that integrate artificial intelligence and 5G technologies; applying AI to drones; using synthetic data and anonymization techniques; applications of generative artificial intelligence; and optimization of processes and logistics chains.

As part of this initiative, an information session will be held on September 26.

Registration is open until October 29. More information is available here.
