The EIT Food Portugal Hub, organized by BGI, is hosting the third edition of the Agrifood Open Day, aimed at all agriculture and food enthusiasts—professionals, researchers, students, farmers, startups, and more.

The event will take place on July 10 in Arruda dos Vinhos and is dedicated to sharing knowledge and fostering synergies in the agrifood sector to promote a more innovative and sustainable food chain. View the program here.

This event provides an opportunity to discuss the state of agriculture and food at three levels—regional, national, and European—and to explore the role of entrepreneurship and education in building the sector’s resilience. Highlights include a Conference on Soil Microbiology and an exhibition of startup stands in the agrifood sector.
