The evaluation of the regulation, scheduled for September 2026, has been brought forward in the context of the AI Continent Action Plan, and a proposal for revision is expected to be presented in the second quarter of 2026. <\/p>\n\n<p>The European Commission has structured the initiative into two strands for gathering contributions, which can be submitted via this <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/14842-Evaluation-and-Revision-of-the-Chips-Act-Chips-Act-20-_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Call for Evidence: <\/strong>This component seeks to define the scope of the Chips Act review. Participants can share their perspectives on the challenges to be addressed, the objectives to be achieved, and the options under consideration.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public Consultation<\/strong>: through a questionnaire, this consultation gathers opinions on the current Chips Act regulation, possible improvements, and other areas for action.
