The European Commission recently launched the Good Practice Guide<\/em> for the implementation of Financial Support to Third Parties<\/em> (FSTP), known as Cascade Funding<\/em>. This mechanism allows consortia supported by Horizon Europe to tender for smaller projects on behalf of the European Commission, thus increasing the impact and reach of European funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cascade Funding <\/em>can be used whenever it is provided for in the text of the funding topic and must respect the general rules of Horizon Europe. This format has been adopted as a simplified way of supporting start-ups<\/em>, SMEs and other entities interested in developing R&D and innovation activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
