<\/p>\n\n

ANI, in collaboration with FCT, will hold an online information session on the new EIC Pre-Accelerator<\/em> pilot on 27 June, between 09:30 and 10:30. This initiative is aimed at SMEs and deeptech <\/em>startups <\/em>with a low level of technological maturity, with the aim of presenting the framework of this new initiative and its role as a preparation route for the EIC Accelerator<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n

The session will feature Ewa Kocinska-Lange, Policy Officer<\/em> at DG Research & Innovation<\/em> for the European Innovation Council <\/em>(EIC), who will highlight the main measures associated with the EIC Pre-Accelerator<\/em>, the evaluation criteria and other relevant information for preparing and submitting applications.<\/p>\n\n

The EIC Pre-Accelerator<\/em> is an initiative for Widening <\/em>countries, aimed at SMEs and deeptech startups<\/em> at intermediate stages of development (TRL 4-6), with the ambition of scaling their deeptech <\/em>innovations to the market. Through lump sum <\/em>funding of between \u20ac300,000 and \u20ac500,000 per project, this action aims to: facilitate access to the EIC Accelerator<\/em>; attract private investment; promote access to national funding, including programmes with the Seal of Excellence (SoE). <\/p>\n\n

The EIC Pre-Accelerator<\/em> is the result of a collaboration between the European Innovation Council (EIC)<\/em> and the WIDERA programme (Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area)<\/em>, and is funded under the WIDERA Work Programme 2025<\/em>.
