March 6th | Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

On March 6, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) will host the event \u201cPolicy, Governance and Funding for Research and Technology Infrastructures\u201d, a meeting that will bring together national and European experts to discuss funding strategies and policies for research and technology infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n

The opening session will feature speeches by representatives of the University of Porto, Jo\u00e3o Claro, president of INESC TEC, and Ana Paiva, Secretary of State for Science. This will be followed by a high-level dialogue on the alignment of European, national and regional strategies for research infrastructures, with the participation of Dominik Sobczak (European Commission), Elena Hoffert (ESFRI), Madalena Alves (FCT), Silvia Garcia (ANI) and Ricardo Sim\u00f5es (CCDR-Norte). <\/p>\n\n

The initiative aims to reinforce the role of technological infrastructures in the development of innovation and European competitiveness. The event also includes a time for networking and exchanging ideas between participants. <\/p>\n\n
