Eurostat is promoting the third round of the European Statistics Awards Programme<\/em>, focusing on international trade in goods. Applications are open until October 30. <\/p>\n\n

The contests will focus on forecasting three key indicators: Extra-EU Imports, Extra-EU Exports, and Intra-EU Exports. Teams of 1 to 5 members will have the opportunity to apply their nowcasting expertise to a real-life case and win up to \u20ac10,000: \u20ac3,000 for accuracy, \u20ac2,000 for innovation, and \u20ac5,000 for reuse. Second and third-place winners will also receive prizes. <\/p>\n\n
