This digital platform allows data to be integrated, processed and analysed in order to optimise decision-making processes in textile production.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Promoters:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ccg.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\">CCG Interface Centre &#8211; Computer Graphics Centre<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.citeve.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\">CITEVE Interface Centre &#8211; Textile and Clothing Technology Centre<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.riopele.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Riopele<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Challenges Addressed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The developments carried out as part of this project have made it possible, among other things:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Digitise information, making it easier to access, share and store data;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Predict and optimise variables\/parameters useful for decision-making processes, by dematerialising fabric samples using algorithms capable of learning from historical textile data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Practical Benefits for Society:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Following the completion of PPS1 a number of benefits were achieved, such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimisation of resources, time and costs by reducing the need to produce physical fabric samples;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved decision-making in the creation of tissue samples by integrating various tools and types of information into a single platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"262\" src=\"http:\/\/ani.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/PPS1-CCG.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8574\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ani.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/PPS1-CCG.png 500w, https:\/\/ani.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/PPS1-CCG-300x157.png 300w, https:\/\/ani.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/PPS1-CCG-480x252.png 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccg.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More information on this project here.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PPS1 is a technological solution for digitising and dematerialising fabric samples, part of the TexBoost project.
