The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy <\/a> (DG REGIO) is looking for external experts to analyse the applications for the 2023 edition of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Awards. <\/a> Applications are open until 31 January 2023.<\/p>\n\n

This call is open to expressions of interest from external experts able to assess the applications from the perspective of three areas based on the core values of the New European Bauhaus:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. sustainability (understood as environmental sustainability, including climate issues, circularity, biodiversity, etc;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. aesthetics and quality of experience (design, arts, culture, architecture, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Inclusion (equal opportunities, public participation, citizen involvement, co-design, universal design, accessibility, affordability).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    The call is also aimed at experts who can assess the applications from the point of view of education (for strand C “New European Bauhaus Education Champions”).<\/p>\n\n

    The call is open to people with training and\/or professional experience in at least one of the aforementioned areas, and for the purposes of selecting experts, priority will be given to people who have training and\/or relevant experience in at least two of the aforementioned areas.<\/p>\n\n

    From among the experts selected to analyse the applications for the prize, some will be selected to be members of the jury that will analyse the applications of the finalists for the prize and make recommendations to the Commission’s Evaluation Committee.<\/p>\n\n

    The NEB 2023 prize is divided into three strands:<\/p>\n\n
