{"id":20051,"date":"2024-04-19T13:56:30","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T13:56:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/w0h.c38.myftpupload.com\/horizon-europe-european-commission-launches-new-calls-to-fund-rd-projects-in-2024\/"},"modified":"2024-12-13T17:39:17","modified_gmt":"2024-12-13T17:39:17","slug":"horizon-europe-european-commission-launches-new-calls-to-fund-rd-projects-in-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ani.pt\/en\/horizon-europe-european-commission-launches-new-calls-to-fund-rd-projects-in-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"HORIZON EUROPE: EUROPEAN COMMISSION LAUNCHES NEW CALLS FOR R&amp;I PROJECTS IN 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The European Commission has released an updated version of the 2023-24 Horizon Europe Work Programme, allocating previously unassigned funds. <\/p>\n\n<p>The revised programme increases the 2024 budget by nearly \u20ac1.4 billion, reaching a total of \u20ac7.3 billion. <\/p>\n\n<p>From this <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/IP_24_2104\" target=\"_blank\">communication<\/a> we highlight some points of interest to the community: <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An investment of 648 million euros for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/IP_24_2104\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EU&#8217;s five missions<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac20 million to prepare for the implementation of the <strong>New European Bauhaus (<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/new-european-bauhaus.europa.eu\/index_en\"><strong>NEB<\/strong><\/a><strong>);<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48 million euros for the digitization of the <strong>Cultural Heritage<\/strong> sector (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/research-area\/social-sciences-and-humanities\/cultural-heritage-and-cultural-and-creative-industries-ccis\/cultural-heritage-cloud_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage<\/a><\/em><u><em>)<\/em><\/u>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An investment of 50 million euros for the European partnership dedicated to <strong>Pandemic<\/strong> Preparedness and Response.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lastly, the various Clusters of Pillar 2 will include new calls in 2024.
