This funding instrument aims to foster the transition from research and development to innovation (TRL 4 to TRL 5\/6).<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to the eligibility conditions previously established in earlier calls (<strong><em>EIC Pathfinder and FET Open\/Proactive; ERC Proof of Concept; EDF<\/em><\/strong>), this year the possibility of participation has been extended to projects (RIAs) from any scientific and technological field that have been funded under <strong> societal challenges and\/or leading industrial technologies within H2020 or any cluster of Pillar II within Horizon Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Individual <\/strong> <strong>or collaborative participation is allowed, with up to 5 entities<\/strong> (SMEs, <em>start-ups, spin-offs<\/em>, RTOs, universities, etc.).
