Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) are strategic tools for implementing the European Union’s (EU) Industrial Strategy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

They are realized through large-scale consortia aimed at Research and Development and the first industrial applications in strategic value chains.<\/p>\n

It is aimed at projects, in any economic sector and involving more than one member state, with the potential to create growth and jobs, boost competitiveness, sustainability and create value across the EU.<\/p>\n

To be eligible, projects must be co-financed by the beneficiaries, guarantee common benefits and demonstrate their innovative capacity and high added value. There are currently two successfully launched projects in the microelectronics<\/a> and batteries<\/a> value chains.<\/p>\n
