The “Research and Technological Development” Incentive System aims to stimulate business investment in R&D by supporting projects for creating and promoting an “R&D Unit in Co-Promotion.” These projects involve qualified human resources from multiple co-promoters, including non-business entities from the R&I System.<\/strong> The consortium is led by an SME and aims to carry out activities that enhance internal R&D capabilities, focusing on technology transfer and knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n

R&D Units in Co-Promotion aim to foster collaborative R&D structures, promoting medium- and long-term strategic partnerships between various actors in the R&I system. The main objectives include cooperation in identifying challenges, jointly planning activities for developing new technologies, defining projects, conducting long-term technological foresight actions, feasibility studies, resource and infrastructure sharing, and the mobility and\/or exchange of qualified human resources between companies or between companies and R&D organizations.<\/p>\n

Foi publicado o aviso 12\/SI\/2020 referente \u00e0 abertura das candidaturas para Projetos de I&D em copromo\u00e7\u00e3o, no \u00e2mbito do sistema de Incentivos \u00e0 investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Tecnol\u00f3gico (SI ID&T), relativas ao programa de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o entre Empresas e Institui\u00e7\u00f5es Polit\u00e9cnicas nacionais e europeias.<\/p>\n

Os projetos submetidos devem ser exclusivamente realizados na modalidade de copromo\u00e7\u00e3o e liderados por empresas nacionais, em parceria com Entidades n\u00e3o empresariais do Sistema de Ensino, nomeadamente Institutos Polit\u00e9cnicos.<\/p>\n

Este concurso marca a terceira fase das Parcerias Internacionais com com a Universidade de Carnegie Mellon, o MIT e a Universidade do Texas em Austin (UT Austin), que come\u00e7ou em 2018 e se estende at\u00e9 2023.<\/p>\n

Pretende-se atribuir \u00e0s empresas nacionais o papel de dinamizadoras das redes e de projetos colaborativos, com o apoio das institui\u00e7\u00f5es de I&D portuguesas e tirando partido da experi\u00eancia e do conhecimento das universidades norte-americanas. O objetivo \u00e9 construir um modelo em que as empresas nacionais liderem o processo de moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o do tecido econ\u00f3mico, refor\u00e7ando o ecossistema de inova\u00e7\u00e3o em Portugal. <\/p>\n
