The European Research Area <\/a><\/span> (ERA) was launched in 2000 within the framework of the Lisbon Strategy to address the issue of fragmentation in European Research & Innovation (R&I) systems. The ERA aims to establish itself as a unified area for research, promoting the free circulation of researchers, scientific knowledge, and technology within the European Union. <\/span><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Research Area (EEI) Policy Agenda was designed to contribute to the priority domains of the Pact for R&I in Europe, encompassing the diversity of national and regional political contexts and employing an adaptive approach to be approved by the Council every three years, functioning as a dynamic document subject to periodic adjustments.<\/span><\/p>\n
