The CTI-IT aggregates the cooperation activities of the Instituto de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es with companies. IT aims at leveraging the scientific and technological knowledge created within the institute, adding to IT development for higher TRLs, and thus economic value. The CTI is aimed at autonomizing this activity, which began with the Technological Interface Center, in which IT exposed its technology to industry and new sectors such as space and defense. From a scientific viewpoint, IT is well known, both nationally and internationally, with relevant activity in the areas of radio circuits and systems, antenna design, satellite systems, network protocols, video coding, signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and artificial intelligence, optical transmission systems, and components, including sensors, photonic circuits and quantum optical systems, information security, applied electromagnetism and mathematics, instrumentation, quantum computing and organic electronics. <\/p>\n
