 registering intellectual and industrial property rights in the form of pat
 ents\, utility models\, designs\, or models through national\, European\, 
 and international routes.\n\nEligible for support are operations submitted
  under the modality of individual applications for the "Protection of Inte
 llectual and Industrial Property" operation type\, with support directed t
 o the following protection requests:\n\na) Definitive national patent appl
 ications\, utility models\, and design or model registrations submitted to
  the Instituto Nacional da Propriedade Industrial (INPI)\;\n\nb) Patent\, 
 utility model\, or design/model applications filed abroad via direct route
 s with the respective national administrations\, whether or not claiming P
 ortuguese priority\;\n\nc) European patent applications submitted to INPI 
 (whether or not claiming priority from a Portuguese application) or to the
  European Patent Organization\, provided they claim priority from a Portug
 uese patent or utility model application\;\n\nd) Entry into the national p
 hases of an international patent application (PCT) filed with INPI (whethe
 r or not claiming priority from a Portuguese application) or with the Euro
 pean Patent Organization and/or the World Intellectual Property Organizati
 on\, provided they claim priority from a Portuguese patent or utility mode
