ANI (the Portuguese National Innovation Agency) will be at the E-TECH PORTUGAL’16 event, which will be held on June 3 and 4 in Setúbal. This is the first event of its kind to be held in Setúbal, and its purpose is to foster and disseminate “the Digital” as a sector of the Future, promoting Digital Employability and ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) as a driving force for economic development.

The Chairman of ANI’s Executive Board will be one of the participants at the conference titled “5 Questions about Digital Employability,” one of the many initiatives within this event. On June 3, José Carlos Caldeira will discuss “2020 Digital Odyssey. Will Portugal be prepared? “ with Miguel Fernandes (EY’s Executive Director), Pedro Veiga (National Cyber Security Center Coordinator) and Miguel Jorge de Campos Cruz (IAPMEI President), in a session presented by MEP Carlos Zorrinho and moderated by Pedro Oliveira, editor of the Exame Informática magazine.

Focusing on Digital Employability, the Conference Series will be held over the two days of the E-TECH PORTUGAL event, which will include 30 experts, researchers and professionals from the business and scientific areas, as well as government and official entities.
