Held at the IHMT (Rua da Junqueira, 100), the seminar is intended for academics and researchers, the business world and the general public. Two major topics will be debated: the application of big data in research and the use of open science in technology transfer.

The first topic will focus on the use of big data and open information in healthcare. For the second topic the goal is to foster a debate on innovation for social inclusion and low-income contexts, among others, as well as on the automated analysis of patents, which represent a strategic reservoir of technological knowledge for companies and for the society.
